丘を越えて (Beyond The Hill) presents Ventura, second release on 16:9 Recordings label. After a very successful first opus, Granular Life, the composer returns with denser music, a raw sound material from which escape melodic fragments. Lighthill forms both an introduction to the album but also a transition with the previous one, while haze and particles in suspension. Then, from An Inertial Frame Of Reference, the listener dives into the textures and layers designed by 丘を越えて (Beyond The Hill). The natural distortion of Feelings On Tape, the ghostly feedback of Avalon Breeze, the naive false melody of Separate Points and finally Aelview completes this journey with a sonorous, majestic and incandescent sunset.
